This is the second time I have used GTD for a new wood stove installation. In my previous home the burner he installed changed the living room aspect completely and it became a focal point that all our visitors admired as soon as they arrived! They provided me with recommendations and helpful advice on the style and installation approach, while also providing a competitive quote. As soon as I moved into my new home I had them back to take out an old gas fire and put in a beautiful new wood burner. Log burning stove transforms home heating experience!
Wood burning stoves are popular at the moment and so we had to wait a few weeks to get ours, and yes it was worth the wait! The communication on the run up to installation was excellent and all our queries were dealt with promptly and professionally. The installation process was painless and done in a COVID sensitive manner. Gareth was excellent and provided plenty of helpful tips on how to set everything up. We even got a fuel discount voucher which was a pleasant surprise. Our log burner has really transformed the house – the amount of heat is amazing and the stove is very easy to use. And so in summary, great service, competitive pricing providing very good value and a really nice company to do business with. Highly recommended.

Super organised wood burner install. We struggled to find a company that would do the fireplace building work as well as the burner install; GTD were happy to do it. Gareth was really helpful answering our (many) questions on his first visit to survey the job and subsequently by phone. Heather made sure we got specific dates for the install visits and a really clear itemised quote. The install team we’re superb, turned up on time every day and left the area cleaner than when they arrived, even though we had lots of bricks to knock out. The fitters were also really helpful when we were discussing the details of the install. Finished job looks excellent. Overall really impressed with the GTD team.

Highly recommend GTD. Gareth and the team just fitted one new stove and moved our existing stove to another room. We also needed a register plate fitted into an inglenook fireplace. The service has been superb. The office provided a clear quotation with options for us. There were supply issues with the stove we’d selected so Gareth and Heather helpfully tracked down an alternative. The installation team were brilliant – friendly, professional and did a great tidy up.
